Are you interested in having your writing published on Heathen Hook? Here are the steps to get started:
1. **Understand Our Writing Guidelines**
We provide a free platform outside of Facebook and TikTok, which lack content standards. Our platform maintains quality and integrity.
– All submissions are reviewed by a Board that manages both our Facebook page and website.
– Submissions are voted on for publication and placement on the site.
– You can choose to publish under your real name or as a “Member of Heathen Hook Facebook Group.”
– If you’re part of the Ethical Heathen Alliance, you’ll receive additional benefits.

2. **Follow Our Content Rules**
– No politics
– No advertising
– No hate speech
– No activism
– Avoid using real names to protect privacy
– Cite sources for factual information
– If using AI-generated content, disclose it
3. **Suggested Topics**
– Reviews of restaurants, parks, clubs, music, or towns
– Opinion pieces (professional and respectful)
– Creative stories (within guidelines)
4. **Submission Process**
If you’re in the Facebook Group, message Heathen Hook directly via IM. Make sure you’re friends with him and reach out when he’s available. Alternatively, contact group admins. All submissions must be received by the end of the second week of the month for release in the following month. Articles, reviews, or stories must be original and not plagiarized—any plagiarized content will be removed from all related groups managed by the Heathen Hook Board.
Your content will be reviewed for compliance and quality. Once approved, it will be published on the site.
Advertising
To advertise your company, group, or related matters, you may do so free of charge, provided it receives approval from the board on the website, Facebook, or within the Ethical Heathen Alliance.
The process is straightforward. If you’re in the Facebook Group, message Heathen Hook directly via IM. Ensure you’re friends with him and reach out when he’s available. Alternatively, you may contact the group admins.
All submissions must comply with Heathen Hook’s rules and regulations.
Upon approval, you will be able to advertise in the Facebook group, and your content will be featured on both the main page of our website and the affiliates page.
Please note that if you are banned for any reason, all advertising will be removed, as you will no longer be in good standing with Heathen Hook or any operations overseen by the board
Become A Board Members
Want to join the board of admins for Heathen Hook and its operations?
Being a member of the Heathen Hook Facebook group or being very active within Heathen Hook does not automatically qualify you for board membership. Being part of the Ethical Heathen Alliance has its perks. The Alliance operates primarily within the Heathen Hook Facebook group, as it offers significantly more resources and support.
To become a board member, you must be a member of the Ethical Heathen Alliance.
